Blue Lantern Tails

Why Tails as a Blue Lantern?:
Because Tails is a hopeful little bastard. As we’ve seen in game and else where (especially in SA and SA2) Tails is always ready to help save the day either by himself or with help. I noticed he doesn’t just do his part because he wants to, but because he wants to help so that Sonic and others can do what they need to do.

Now you’re probably saying, “HEY WAIT! Doesn’t everyone help Sonic just as much as Tails does!?”. Well yes, but no. Lets take the SA games, everyone was helping Sonic, but it was out of their own personal gain and somewhat unintentional. Knuckles helps, when his master emerald his endangered! Amy helps, CUZ SHE WANTS THE D! But Tails? Tails is the only one who helps, not because it’s convenient for himself, but because he honestly cares about Sonic and the others and wants to see them succeed.

Because Tails does his thing, SOnic can do his thing ever better. That fits perfectly with the relationship between a Blue Lantern and a Green Lantern. Blue Lanterns have hope not for themselves, but for others.

Advantages over natural abilities?:
Tails would still spin his tails while in flight although he wouldn’t really be using them. Blue Lanterns have the ability to instill great hope in others. When in the presents of a Green Lantern, Tails would be able to increase their (Sonic’s) power 10 fold, super charging them. When around Red Lanterns and/or Orange Lanterns, Tails blue energy would be able to negate the Rage/Avarice they feel and can quell their abilities. Also, if a Red Lantern (Shadow) should lose their ring and go into cardiac arrest because of it Tails would be able to reverse the effects, saving them. Also Blue Lanterns can de-age *dying red suns turning them young blue stars* (*thats science, there really are a such thing as blue stars and they are hot as fuck). Blue Lanterns process rapid healing abilities that they can use on anyone and themselves.

Tails would also be able to use hard light constructs to bring hope to anyone who needs it. For Example: Shadow is on a rampage that not even G.U.N. can stop. In comes Blue Lantern Tails to save the day. He would then approach Shadow and use his blue ring to search Shadow’s heart and find what he hopes for most. Then the blue ring would create and image of...say Maria? Then Maria would tell him right then and there why he should stop and so on and so forth.

Disadvantages?:
Hope is nothing without Will to guide it. Blue Lanterns on there own have limited abilities, so Tails would only be able to heal folks and create force fields but not much else. Only when he is near a Green Lantern or Oa (green lantern home world) can his full potential be realized.

Clothes?:
......Cuz...I CAN. I think they look cool....also they are somewhat based off of the blue lantern original uniform (the one Saint Walker wears). Also anyone remember Super Tails? I hope you do.
